Job Location : Pune
Experience : 3 - 6 yrs
Responsibilities :
Create MSI packages as per requirement within agreed timescales. Package creation involves the following. Performance measurement based on timeliness and effectiveness.
Source discovery, validation and complexity check
Testing the package
SMS Package creation in SMS and Alteration, updating DP s as per the SOP.
Communication for completing UAT.
Perform Quality audit of packages created by other team members. Provide a pass/fail so that next steps can be performed. Provide suggestions to improve quality of packages where applicable.
Troubleshoot package failures to ensure packages are ready for deployment as per agreed timescales.
Adhere to processes/procedures defined by the organization to perform the above tasks.
Prepare relevant documentation for the packages (Technical, usage, etc.)
Contribute towards improvement to fine tune existing technical procedures or process workflows in order to increase the efficiency.
Provide technical, process, environment related training to new joiners in the team.
Maintain the test lab equipments/set up allocated for the team.
Contribute to projects related to migration of new countries/Business units, implementation of new solutions, etc. as per agreed roles and responsibilities for the projects.
Work in 24x7 shifts to perform the above activities.
Technical Skills : Knowledge of Windows Operating system with a good understanding of Windows Installer and MSI technologies.
Extensive experience in using Admin Studio Install shield tools
Experience in VMWare infrastructure, Orca, ORK, Picture Taker, Regmon, Filemon, etc.
